DERMAPLANING is a cosmetic procedure, using a scalpel to remove the outermost layer of dead skin cells and the peach fuzz (vellus hair). This procedure helps to EXFOLIATE and to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and deep acne scarring as well as prepping the skin to smooth and accept organic serums and masks to a higher standard.
Contraindications for the treatment:
Botox/Fillers - wait 2 weeks
Retin-A - wait 5 days prior and 3 days after
Chemical peel or laser treatment - wait 14 days
Diabetes - must be under control by diet or medication
Cancer - not while undergoing treatment
Accutane or Isotretinoin - must wait 12 months and with doctors approval
Blood thinners or history of bleeding problems
High dosages or frequency of use of Aspirin
Acne - grade 3 or above or active breakouts
Active Cold sores
Excessive sunburn or windburned skin
